Who's on the Delaware ballot in 2026

A plain, nonpartisan guide to Delaware's 2026 general election. What offices are up, whether there are any ballot questions, and a standardized public record for every candidate, with every fact linked to the document it came from.

How to read this. First State Lens builds one standardized record per candidate from primary public documents only: official filings, recorded votes, disclosed campaign finance, and dated public statements quoted word for word. Every candidate for an office is shown with the same fields in the same order. We rank no one and endorse no one. Read the full method. We show you the record; you decide.

Questions Delaware voters ask

Are there any ballot questions or initiatives in Delaware in 2026?
No. Delaware has no citizen-initiative or referendum process, so voters cannot place measures on the ballot. Delaware is also the only state that can amend its constitution without a public vote, by passing an amendment through two consecutive sessions of the General Assembly. As a result, a Delaware general-election ballot is candidates, not ballot measures.
Who is running for U.S. House in Delaware in 2026?
Delaware elects one at-large member of the U.S. House. The standardized record for every candidate in that race, including filings, votes, campaign finance, and quoted positions, is on the U.S. House candidate record. As of the Delaware certified candidate list updated July 14, 2026, Sarah McBride is the only candidate listed for this office.
What offices are on the Delaware ballot in 2026?
The 2026 general election includes U.S. Senate and the U.S. House at-large seat, the statewide offices of Attorney General, State Treasurer, and Auditor of Accounts, all 41 State House seats and part of the State Senate, and county council and row offices. Governor and Insurance Commissioner are not on the 2026 ballot; those are elected in gubernatorial years.
When is the Delaware 2026 primary and general election?
The primary is September 15, 2026, and the general election is November 3, 2026. The major-party candidate filing deadline is noon on July 14, 2026, which is when the general-election candidate list becomes final.
Where does First State Lens get its candidate information?
Only from primary public documents: the Delaware Department of Elections candidate list, recorded roll-call votes, Federal Election Commission finance disclosures, and dated public statements quoted directly. Every fact on a candidate page links to its source. Read the full method for what is included, what is excluded, and how corrections are made.
